Who is Wendy Shay?
Wendy Asiamah Addo who was born on February 20th, 1996 is a Ghanaian female singer. She was listed among the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by the 3Music Awards Women’s Brunch in March 2021. Wendy Shay was born to Mr. Addo in Accra, a neighborhood of Ghana’s Greater Accra Region.
She and her three siblings moved to Stuttgart, Germany, following the passing of their father. After Wendy’s father passed away when she was four years old, her passion for music increased. She completed grades 1-6 at Morning Star School and St. Martin de Porres in Accra before moving to Stuttgart to finish high school. In Germany’s Bernhausen, she also attended a music school.
