Robert Peter Williams known as Robbie Williams is an English singer, songwriter and entertainer well-known from 1990 to 1995 as a member of the pop group “Take That” which achieved commercial success.

Early Life
Born as Robert Peter Williams, on February 13, 1974 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England to Peter Williams (father), who ran a pub called the Red Lion in Burslem before becoming the licensee at the Port Vale FC Social Club and Janet(mother).
He was a student at St Margaret Ward Catholic School in Tunstall and took part in a number of school productions, most memorably as the Artful Dodger in an Oliver production.
Professional Career
Williams, when sixteen, joined Take That as the group’s youngest member in 1990. His mother reportedly advised that he try out for the group after reading an advertisement for a new boy band, according to the documentary Take That: For the Record.
All except one of his 11 studio albums have debuted at number one in the UK, and he has released seven UK number one singles. He also has the best-selling non-Latino artist in Latin America and is the best-selling British solo musician in the United Kingdom.
Williams’ 1996 solo debut featured a cover of George Michael’s “Freedom” that peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. At London’s Maison Rouge studios, Williams started recording his debut album in March 1997.
Williams and EMI agreed to a record-breaking £80 million contract in 2002. The contract contained a number of caveats, such as the company giving the artist more creative power and pledging to introduce Williams to the US market. The largest music contract in British history.
At the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia, on June 14, 2018, Williams gave a performance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. Prior to singing “Angels” in duet with Russian singer Aida Garifullina, Williams sang “Let Me Entertain You” and “Feel”.
At the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, on September 24, 2022, Williams gave a performance at the 2022 AFL Grand Final.
