A fire in Adjiringanor, an Accra suburb, has destroyed over 200 structures. The Ghana National Fire Service reported the incident on Facebook, stating that there were no casualties. However, 150 structures near the fire’s epicenter were saved.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but fire officials said on Facebook that it was extinguished with no casualties.
Four fire engines from Legon, Headquarters, Madina, and Adenta are currently battling to keep the fire under control; the fire has been contained.
“Raging fire at Adrriganor ..4 Appliances from Legon, Headquarters, Madina and Adenta fire Stations currently battling to put the situation under control…fire has been contained
“No Casualty recorded and over 150 structures close to the scene of the fire salvaged due to the bravery of our men but Unfortunately, over 200 Wooden structures totally burnt,” the Facebook post said.
