Born 23 January 1994, Wallam, a Noongar lady, was raised in Korijekup (Harvey), a small rural community two hours south of Perth.
The native of Western Australia started off playing basketball before switching to netball in early 2019. Daniel Cools, her netball coach, urged her to try out for the Western Australia Netball League (WANL) in December 2018 when she traveled to Waroona to play netball.
Her first season playing for West Coast Warriors in the Western Australia Netball League in 2019, she earned the Jill McIntosh Medal and the League Player of the Year awards.
Wallam relocated to England in 2021 to play for Leeds Rhinos in the UK Netball Superleague, but she broke her arm in the second match. Seven weeks later, she was back in the game and rated as the 95 percent competitive shooter with the most accuracy.
In the Suncorp Super Netball League in 2022, she took the place of Romelda Aiken as a goal shooter for the Queensland Firebirds. She has 519 goals and was ranked in the top 20 players for Nissan Net Points in her rookie season. Wallam was selected for the Australian Diamonds Squad for the 2022 Commonwealth Games thanks to her exploits, and she will be one of three traveling reserves that will travel to Birmingham.
On October 26, 2022, Wallam played her debut game for the Australian Diamonds against the England Roses in Newcastle. With ten minutes left to play, Wallam entered the game and made eight of eight shots, including the game-winning shot with just seconds remaining. 189 is her Australian Diamonds number.
