Court remands Evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa as case is adjourned to new date

Evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa has been remanded in custody by the court. The Heaven Way Church’s leader, Evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa, has been remanded in custody by the court. She was arrested and charged with money laundering after many people accused her of it.

In court, the presiding judge denied her bail and detained her for three days. Evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa will return to court on Thursday, October 13, 2022, to learn whether she will be remanded again or given bail until the police gather enough evidence to charge her.

During her removal from the courtroom, Evangelist Mama Pat Agradaa became emotional and sang several popular gospel songs.
Her followers encouraged her to sing to glorify God.

“The Circuit court in Accra had remanded Patience Asiedua popularly known as Nana Agradaa into lawful custody for the next three days.”
