About Medabon 200 MG Tablet
A medical termination pack, also known as a Medabon 200 MG Tablet, is made up of two medications: Mifepristone and Misoprostol, which are used to end a pregnancy medically. Five tablets are included in the kit. One Mifepristone tablet and four Misoprostol tablets
If you are less than 63 days pregnant, it is medically recommended. If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant, doctors will not recommend this procedure. Mifepristone is a water-soluble synthetic steroid that is administered orally. It interferes with the secretion of progesterone, which causes the pregnancy to end.
Misoprostol is a synthetic prostaglandin that softens the cervix, contracts the uterus, and permits the uterine contents to be expelled. Depending on the patient’s health, it’s given vaginally or orally.
Misoprostol can be self-administered or administered under the supervision of a gynecologist so that the patient has access to health care if needed. In the instance of an intrauterine pregnancy, surgical termination is advised.
After 1-3 days, 1 Mifepristone tablet is taken, followed with 4 Misoprostol tablets. If the abortion does not happen after the first dose of Misoprostol, a second dose of Misoprostol (2 tablets) is given. In the instance of an intrauterine pregnancy, surgical termination is advised.
