ROLE DESCRIPTION: A dynamic and high achieving new community pharmacy practice is looking for highly motivated and patient-care oriented professionals to join its strong team for the below positions:
- Pharmacists
- Pharmacy Technicians
- Medicine Counter Assistants

PHARMACISTS
The successful candidate must possess:
- A valid registration/licence to practice in Ghana with a PharmD or BPharm degree qualification.
- At least 3 years working experience in a similar capacity within a thriving community Pharmacy
- practice
- A strong understanding and knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Patient Care; up-to-date with
- standard and national treatment guidelines.
- A strong knowledge of pharmaceutical product information.
- Good human relational skills and be an effective team player.
- Adaptability and agility with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with good customer service track record.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Serving as clinical subject matter expert and provide quality pharmaceutical care and counselling to patients.
- Safeguarding patient safety by spearheading rational medication use processes.
- Maintaining professional interactions with patients, caregivers, and staff to facilitate a seamless care experience.
- Providing exemplary professional leadership by promoting a positive work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHARMACY TECHNICIANS
The successful candidate must possess:
- A Degree/Diploma in Dispensing/Pharmacy Technology with a valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana
- At least 3 years working experience in a similar capacity within a thriving community Pharmacy practice.
- A strong knowledge of pharmaceutical product information.
- Good human relational skills and be an effective team player.
- Adaptability and agility skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with good customer service track record.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the daily operations of pharmaceutical service provision to patients.
- Provision of drug information service to patients/caregivers and general advice on medication therapy according to national standard treatment guidelines.
- Provision of stock/inventory monitoring and providing timely feedback for smooth business continuity.
- Demonstrating high professional outlook in the discharge pharmaceutical care responsibilities to patients/caregivers.
- Other duties as assigned.
MEDICINE COUNTER ASSISTANTS
The successful candidate must possess:
- MCA Certification from a reputable training school.
- At least 2 years working experience in a similar capacity as an MCA within a thriving community practice.
- Experience with interfacing with patients and good knowledge of pharmaceutical products.
- Good human relational skills and be an effective team player.
- Good salesmanship.
- Excellent communication skills with good customer service track record.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the daily operations of the Pharmacy.
- Interfacing with patients/clients to offer guidance and product choice recommendation.
- Supporting stock/inventory taking; monitoring and general logistical support
- Demonstrating high professional outlook in the discharge of assigned responsibilities to clients, patients/caregivers.
- Other duties as assigned.
