Kantanka Cars are one of the handful of indigenous automotive manufacturers in Ghana. The company is registered under Kantanka Auto Manufacturing Limited.
Kantanka cars showroom is located inside Achimota adjacent to the FBN Bank. The Kantanka Cars Showroom was founded by Emeritus Professor Apostle Dr. Ign. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka in 1994.
The first car to be manufactured by Kantanka automobile was a CBU in 1998 and the automobile company used almost 75% of local equipment for the vehicle production.
Kantanka Cars Showroom was officially opened on the 3rd of August 2018 by Hon. Joe Osei-Owusu, first deputy speaker, and Kwadwo Safo Jnr, CEO – Kantanka Group, with invited guests and members of the Kantanka Automobile team.
The showroom includes a spacious showroom on the ground floor with meeting rooms, conference facilities, and permanent displays of Kantanka cars including SUVs ( Onantefo ), Pickups ( Omama ), Mini SUVs (K71), and Saloons (Mensah and Amoanimaa).
