American IFBB professional bodybuilder Nick Walker, also known as “The Mutant,” hails from New Jersey. He’s also vying for the coveted Mr. Olympia title in the open bodybuilding division right now.
Nick Walker had a difficult life filled with abuse and drug usage prior to becoming interested in bodybuilding. He was able to persevere, though, and soon discovered his niche in the gym.
At the age of 18, Walker started competing in bodybuilding, and since then, he has persevered through nearly two dozen competitions to establish himself as one of the top pros in the industry. Nick has grown in prominence over the past few years and now has well over a million Instagram followers.
Nick Walker participated in his first event in 2012 and then 14 more until finally earning his IFBB pro card at the Pittsburgh Pro North American Championships in 2020.
Walker won the New York Pro the next year, in 2021, to earn a spot in the Mr. Olympia competition. He earned a spot in the professional bodybuilding world the same year he won the famous Arnold Classic and finished fifth in the Olympia.
Nick Walker has since competed at the highest level, placing second in the 2023 Arnold Classic and third in the 2022 Mr. Olympia.
